Mid-Career Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Mentoring Program
From the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP)
The goal of the P2P program is to help mid-career economists find community, support, and mentoring. Participants form small groups with others at a similar career stage or with similar concerns. Groups meet regularly, supported by a curriculum and resources on topics including planning for promotion, managing service, and time management.
What are former participants saying about P2P?
“Thanks for putting together this program. We all agreed that it has pushed many of us to approach things differently and to strive for some things that felt out of reach.”
-Laura Gee
Associate Professor, Tufts University
“[P2P] provided a unique opportunity to connect meaningfully with remarkable scholars and colleagues . . . helping us stay focused, accountable, and inspired to pursue professional goals.”
-Sumedha Gupta
Associate Professor, Indiana University-Indianapolis
The P2P program is funded by a grant from Co-Impact, and is supported by members of the American Economics Association’s Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession.
